Wonder Mom!

I found this awesome book of WonderWoman comic covers at Half Price books for basically nothing.Do you know how inexpensive making your backgrounds out of used books is? Consider designer paper for 50 cents a sheet, and books for 50 cents a book!

It was the purrrrfect backdrop for my Super Mom for Mother's day.
The image is from the new Doodle Factory set "Super Parents". The card base is Basic Black, and I colored her with copics, chose a good cover from the book to use as a backdrop and punched a few circles for accents.

Lydia,

Ok, when I first saw that stamp set over at Doodlebug Designs, I thought to myself...."How goofy!" Now that I see it on your card, I have a better opinion of it. What a great sales tool you are for them. That idea is too cute, and very creative. I love it! You are on quite a roll this week.

Are you gonna tell us what "it" is in the Do YOu Get It post? Not that I'm obsessed, but I can't eat, can't sleep, ........

Great idea, Lydia! I've been enjoying your various posts with the book pages (here and at 'Blue), so I got myself an antique French reader/schoolbook type book (I don't know French, so I figured with a schoolbook, I wouldn't ever accidentally put foreign porn on my cards :)) I'm having lots of fun using it! Thanks for the inspiration! (PS I wanna know what "it" is, too....)
